If that's the best of the generation, we're truly well served.

BEST performers of this generation are not judged by only ONE performance.
It's the artists ability to grow as a performer and outdo themselves & others each time. Which all three of them have done.
Look at their tour receipts, they have the highest gross on tours and highest attendees!
There is a reason why people flock to their concerts.....its because of their LIVE PERFORMANCES!
But your opinion is yours.

If she can't sing on key in a studio, I doubt she manages live.
And what the **** does dancing have to do with anything? As if someone NEEDS to dance to be a good performer.

I fully agree with your first two sentences.
But to me, dancing is part of performing. Yes, you can be a great performer without dancing just like Adele but as we are comparing these three artists who include choreo as an important part of their performance, I don't think Kelly belongs there.

And yet she probably dances better than your fave, is still singing live, and let it be known that this is one of her worst performances (and yet still is better than most pop girls'). Take a seat.

Oh well, now that Judas performance ain't so special anymore right...
Tour receipts mean nothing when Britney Spears made a killing WW with the Circus tour without singing a single note.
We're talking skill. And while Gaga was definetely a fresh performer, bringing theater and drama to the stages at the beggining of her career, now she just seems lost. She's not outdoing anything from her early years. There's definetely some good stuff like that Itunes concert but the rest, a combination of try hard and not good enough. Lacking concepts that betray her, be it with a weak choreo, weak stage or all around mess like the infamous vomit stuff..

Maybe it seems like Gaga is a lessor performer because she performs so often. She's on stage more than any of the other girls/there's always a new Gaga performance, etc.

The BTWB isn't the best example for Gaga...she was exhausted and going with a broken hip for most of that tour.

Kelly Clarkson is an infinitely better live performer than Adele!

Well she's had a 10+ year career. How many televised performances from BEYONCE era opposed to ARTPOP?

I agree with you up to a point in that here, on ATRL, everything she does is under the microscope. The other girls are in their tours without every move getting 2 threads.
That still does not excuse the sub par material. She's capable of great things as she's proved, just like Britney Spears in her prime. Whatever she's doing these days is not enough to be called best of the generation.
