What I like about Katy is that she actually puts effort into her single releases. Every single is an event with its own recognizable imagery. I wish Beyoncé would do that, she needs to stop with the dual releases.

I agree. I don't think she has any "half-assed" release.
Katy and her team are too smart to let her get overexposed and become irrelevant (poor Gaga). She stays out of the public eye like 90% of the time and once she starts to become too exposed in one country they take her promo elsewhere.
Also her singles have long lifespans (Dark Horse has been an official single for 5 months now) so to the GP it's not like she's churning out single after single.

They ****ed up hard with Uncle, so it's very doubtful Legendary Lovers will ever be a single.
I think they should end the era after Birthday, since there are no potential smash hits left.
