IAD > Stay Stay Stay > Starlight
I can connect with IAD lyrics
and it's my friends' favorite too
it will work well as single, easily another Top 3 on country airplay chart
remember it was the highest non-single on chart ( before Red gets released )?
While Stay Stay Stay? It just reminds ppl with Mean, but it's actually failed attempt to repeat masterpiece which gave her 2 Grammys
and Starlight? Dont ask country pop producer to produce snyth-pop, dance pop track

The Last Time should be a HAC-AC hit
the way ppl said she's overexposed is because she released too many singles to pop. No one said she's overexposed when she sent 5 singles to country radio from previous eras
but once she sent 4 singles to pop radio, she suddenly became Katy Perry 2.0, and she even unmatched her success

Stay Stay Stay is such a cute song and it has some of her most original and clever lyrics ever: 'before you, i only dated self indulgent takers who took all the problems out on me'' who else can write something like this?
I think the reason why some of you don't like it is because it's a little too childish, but it was meant to be that way.. '' The silly version of Ours', critics called it

Um, it seems like there's some confusion in this base, so I'll do y'all a favor and help clear it. Ahem,
Starlight is a good song with a very well-executed and dynamic production. The lyrics are not bad either and convey the light-hearted, carefree feel of the song without sounding silly or immature a la 22.
The Last Time features some of Taylor's worst vocals ever and only the harmonies at the end can save it. The production and lyrics are good though. The problem is in their voices.
Skip Skip Skip is one immature, meh song with some of the silliest Taylor lyrics ever and the production doesn't make the song any better.
I Almost Made A Good Song (But I Didn't) is a very basic song. Basic lyrics, basic production with opening strings that are some of the most annoying sounds ever.
Hope you enjoyed the tea party.

What dynamic production? It's just a typical dance pop beat and some basic guitars.
I don't really care for The Lord's vocals so whatever.
Truth.
Ehm, tho it's basic, the lyrics ain't.

You guys think The Lord feels pressure? She has put out 4 commercially and critically acclaimed albums. What if this next one fails in one department?

OMG @ the chuckle right after she sings "indie records that's much cooler than mine".
Her songs have so much personality.

Nope, the combination of piano and synth in the chorus slays.

Yes, I'm sorry you're in shock, but, yeah, it does. Its lyrics are some of her most cliched lyrics ever+ the melody is drab and totally inventive. Very lazy. It's very clear that not much effort was put into it in comparison to All Too Well, for example.

Ahahah you praised Starlight's lyrics and called IAD cliched I'm sorry but I think you're the one who's in shock. IAD is one of Taylor's most heartfelt songs and I always feel a lump in my throat whenever I listen to it. I don't think the opening strings and melody are even remotely annoying since everyone I know loves the song. Only the delusional and the hypocrites would claim that IAD is basic
