The G.U.Y. video is really pretty flawless though. Anyone who complains about it is nitpicking. It's easily among her best videos.

There were some terrible and tragic editing issues in MTN.

I think G.U.Y. is in my top five but I'm not really that big a fan of her JD/PF/BDR music videos. Eh, Eh puts all three to shame. TEOG can also go bye-bye.

I don't really care for those either. They're just too simple/normal for me. Eh, Eh too. The 1-2-3 punch of Paparazzi, Bad Romance, and Telephone was truly the highlight of her career imo. Alejandro was the beginning of the end, until G.U.Y., which imo is a return to the glory days. If only success would follow suit

I remember when this happened to the MTN video after it flopped. Some of you are really sad to need success to validate the quality of a video.

I think it's just hype, people get so excited when something new is releasing and they're quick to call it the best _____ ever, especially in a rabid fanbase like this one. Then the hype dies down and you can judge it fairly. Nothing to do with the song's success in this case

The video is playing out. GUY is the Phoenix that was shot out of the iTunes top 200. Only for it to be brought to Hearst castle on April 8 to be rejuvenated. Guy will have ha revenge
