It means nothing at this moment to be honest. Dark Horse is still high in both iTunes, stream and airplay. Radio stations are playing Birthday by themselves cause there's no deal yet. Mid/end of may we'll see something bumping. I hope so.

I don't think the next single after this should be "This Is How We Do." It probably should be a single at some point, but having two party-type songs in succession seems a bit like a bad idea.

But really the only other likely candidates for the next single (Walking on Air & Legendary Lovers) are pretty awful. WHY everyone is paying "International Smile" dust is beyond me.

Do you skip the bridge when you listen to this awful song? Because it's terrible. They tried to bring back the Last Friday Night saxophone and it was ridiculous, like the instrument was tuneless.

Which song? International Smile or This Is How We Do? If you mean the former, I've never minded it aside from the fact that Luke ripped it straight out of Kesha's "Thinking of You." If you mean the later, I've come to tolerate it. I don't really like the song but it's much better than either "Walking on Air" or "Legendary Lovers"

International Smile obviously. But both are her worst tracks ever. Ridiculous lyric and instrumental. Your taste is... odd. I can't speak for all the Kats, but most of them hate IS. Walking On Air and Legendary Lovers are masterpieces compared to those songs you have mentioned.

Good thing I prefer to form my own opinions rather than assimilating mine from Katy's fan base

"Walking On Air" has the chintziest Eurosynths I've ever heard, one of Katy's worst vocal performances ever, and massively cringeworthy lyrics ("you're reading me like erotica / boy you make me feel exotic, yeah" ). "Legendary Lovers" is a snoozefest and is essentially just "Unconditionally" but with slight bhangra influences. The chorus is totally nothing. Apparently Katy's idea of being super serious and super mature actually means being super boring.

"This Is How We Do" isn't a particularly good song, either, but at least it doesn't take itself too seriously like "Legendary Lovers."
