Look outside the realm of Gaga/Rihanna/Katy/etc. and there are countless, countless artists who just get on stage and SING a million times better than Adele ever could. She's not that great, yet people act like she's in Whitney's league vocally or something. Piano and guitar? Is she particularly good on them? You can go to your local coffee house on Saturday nights and find a more skilled pianist and singer performing.

Do you even know what means to be overrated? It means that critics love an artist more than the public does. In Adele's case, no, she's not overrated, she's underrated, because clearly the public loves her more than the critics. Critics gave her a 77 score on 21, but it was perceived by the public as a 10.
