Not to mention every time Beyoncé is mentioned in a TV-show or anywhere it's about how she's a legend, successful, gorgeous, wealthy, a great performer and a diva. Rihanna will always be that one girl that got beat up. And she changed her hairstyles too, the impact is unreal.
Beyonce is 30X the star Rihanna is.
Beyonce will go down as a revered legend, Rihanna won't.
What's there to argue?
How can you be so sure? The standards have dropped so far from what they were 20/30 years ago. With the roster of popstars we have and with talent rarified to the extent it has, anyone who has made ANY kind of impact with a some hit songs could be deemed a legend in 20 years or so. At this point, even Katy is eligible. It's not about being a pioneer anymore, because in that case, 99% of long running successful pop artists would be swept under the rug like nothing and I highly doubt that would ever happen.
Why are y'all pretending to be "SHOCKED!!!" that someone doesn't know a Bryan Adams song? Most of y'all are also ignorant to a lot of big music hits from the past and I have proof. Bryan Adams is no one's legend and is a footnote from the late '80s and '90s. Not everyone will know who he is or the songs he sang.
"...Baby One More Time" is the name of Britney's biggest hit and album, but I BET if you surveyed a ton of people, they wouldn't acknowledge or remember which album or the name of the album it came from. I rest my case.
"Thriller" isn't even his biggest hit.
Thriller his is most memorable and iconic hit. I don't know how much it did in numbers but its definitely his biggest.
139. All For Love - Bryan Adams / Rod Stewart / Sting
A&M - 1993 - 8.242.000 points
So...basically nobody that important?
MESS @ yall acting like Bryan Adams was serving any type of Prince/MJ/Stevie Wonder tea.

Biggest hit on the album.
Huh? I think we are saying the same thing here - Whether people remember the album of said hit or not, holds no bearing on whether or not it is deamed a classic?
