DC is more talked about right now than the Spice Girls, giving me britknee teas. and lol at TLC, when everyone was acting like they just discovered them because of that low-budget vh1 movie. Independent Women alone >>>>> both SG & TLC combined.
girl stop sniffing glue. TLC is the best selling R&B girl group ever. Spice Girls best selling Girl Group ever. DC just now had a reunion at superbowl plus it's members (the two that matter) are still releasing music and trying to be relevant so ofcourse they are more talked about. Unpretty by TLC alone >>>>>> all of DC discography+Beyonce+Kelly+Letoya+Michelle+Solange+ Blue Ivy discography.
Stop it! Rita can sing, and def more talented vocally. Rih has great songs.
No. Rita might have a superior timbre but when it comes to singing live, Rihanna has been better since unapologetic era and you will deal. Rita is still a crap performer. So Rihanna is more talented.

Rita has great songs too. Her album sounds timelessly fresh and accessible enough to appeal to all sorts of audiences. If/When Roc Nation finally decides to put some effort behind her name she'll have all the success Rih has and more.
In an interview with Q magazine (January 2008), Rihanna was asked if she always knew that "Umbrella" was destined for greatness. The singer replied: "I definitely knew that it was one of the most original sounds that I'd heard for a while. But a lot of people didn't really understand it. They thought the repetition was annoying. But I knew that was what people would catch on to right away, because that's what stuck in my head. People didn't get the lyric either."
