R&B albums don't sell anways, (except for Beyonce but this is obvious) so idk why y'all come for him.
When it comes to core R&B artists like Usher, Sevyn, Jhene, Trey, Chris, Ciara, Miguel etc the main way to measure their success is Urban airplay since Urban singles don't sell either.
"Climax" and "There Goes My Baby" were the 2nd biggest R&B singles of 2012, and 2010 respectively so he still wins.
But ugh, R&B's current state. Local, can't sell albums, can't sell singles.
Mess at the Beyoncé pregnancy conspiracy still being discussed. . The only thing that makes me doubt she was ever pregnant was the infamous gif of her sitting down.
I always thought those theories were ****ing crazy, the first time I saw that gif was this year when I joined ATRL and that made me doubt tbh
Tina Turner - "What's Love Got to Do with It"
Sheila E. - "The Glamorous Life"
Sheena Easton - "Strut"
Cyndi Lauper - "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"
Deniece Williams - "Let's Hear It for the Boy"
Usher is, local , and yet Shakira and every other Pop girl are gloabl and he still outsold them so he definitely wins considering how the odds were even more against him as an R&B artist.
