It wasn't lack of demand for Bionic. That's a common misconception. The tickets were in the Top 3 on the sales chart when the tour was announced but she was getting divorced and couldn't balance that out

And the Lotus tour wasn't officially announced.

Shakira, ha self-titled album is already more successful than Lotus in the US and woldwide. Even
