I agree with you but I don't think Bey particularly cares about commercai performance of anything anymore other than her tours. She invests her time in the avenues which generate more income for her. So there's that.

That's all good and fine and your point is well taken, but I do think she's doing it to stay above promo. She's doing it because she wants to. No reasons behind it. It's simply something new her stans will have to get use to.

I guess it's a matter of whether you think she really doesn't feel like it, or it's an intentional move to make a point about her album. I get intentional vibes from the whole thing but idk. The era and her are ***flawless otherwise.

Well, she is distributed by the same label as Adele. Seeing how she promoted more actively with 4 during the 21 era, where Adele did almost nothing to promote her album (just slaying from word of mouth), I would imagine that she would have less intrinsic motivation to really want to promote her material now.

BEYONCE isn't exactly musically appropriate for Idol and The Voice. Especially not Partition. Much of it's too lyrically explicit.

That deserved to go #1 same with DIL. Partition does too.

But she just finished a 132-date tour and her anniversary is in a couple of days. I think she's just taking a much needed break to spend it with her child and husband. It's not like she's "avoiding promoting," I think it's because she simply can't right now. I suspect she'll start promoting again at the end of April and May, right around Billboard Music Awards. Hopefully, she does a few talk shows like Ellen/Jimmy Fallon and maybe the SNL Finale.
