I know Rih is gl0bal and all, but I was just in this thread and her debut sales in the US for someone with 12 #1 [before the monster] are kind of and her lack of #1 albums. I know those aren't as important, but still

I recently also thought about the fact she DEPENDS on November releases.

It's debatable her albums would even reach Platinum without a Q4 release.

First week sales represent the extent of your fanbase, so for someone with TWELVE #1 hits it's significant. It basically means she has bombarded the public non-stop with her music, and they have bought it, but when it comes to investing in her as an artist (what buying a whole album first week means, since you've usually only been exposed to one single), despite TWELVE #1's, people don't really care.

I personally think its because of lack of hype. You never really know when her eras start or end. GGGB was her 3rd album in 2 years

But I hope Beyonce releases a solo Xmas album. "Do You Hear What I Hear" is the best song on the otherwise awful album.
