Taylor would personally ask the hospital if she can visit and she asks that the hospital not tell the media. From what it seems like, the hospital might give the parents notice a day or so before, but that is all.

Taylor brings no entourage with her and no cameras. She is probably guided around the hospital by a hospital exec or a head nurse. Any photos or video we see of the visits are directly from the parents and children and their families. When you consider how much time she is said to have spent in the hospital, there are probably dozens of people who we haven't even seen photos of her with.

You can be the biggest, douchiest cynic in the world, but even then you should realize that this is a very classy way to go about things.

that's not entirely true, I just think they used to have different kind of visits.....look at the hubub of this one.....it was from the Paula era, and it was professionally photographed. That might just mean that the hospital/Ronald McDonald House wanted to photograph it professionally.
