He did Pop, because it was hot -- and it CLEARLY worked. #1 hits. Had he done basic ass R&B from 2010 and 2012, he'd be where Ciara's career is at currently.

His R&B still slays. "There Goes My Baby" was the 2nd biggest R&B song of 2010, "Climax" was the 2nd biggest R&B song of 2012. He's still used by the R&B community.

It is worrying that her album couldn't re-enter the top 100 in the U.K and the top 50 in the U.S. G.U.Y video was actually well done, kinda of high profile and hyped as a small come back but no one really cared. I don't see it for this song at all.

We shall see what happens after she starts promoting again but I don't think it will help. What are gag stans positions on this?
