Not great from Shakira especially with all the promo. Maybe she will have longevity at least.

If i read that once more....idk what kind of great effective promo is a couple of tv shows and some radio interview all in one week while she stayed at home up until the release of the album
She exceeded the expections and considering how little she promoted this is pretty decent.
She didn't have wall to wall promo ala "Born This Way", "Red", or "The 20/20 Experience". These numbers are good.
Isn't she on the Voice? Hasn't she performed on numerous TV shows? Didn't she have a single and faux lesbian viral video with one of the biggest pop stars in the world? Doesn't she have like 4 or 5 commercials featuring her singles?
Expected a bit more for a GLOBAL icon, especially with the amount of tv promo and Target deal. These numbers are on par with Christina's "Lotus" and less than her last opening.
Let me remind you Shakira is not from US. Those numbers are not good but you can't compare.
