I was thinking literally the same thing, I actually almost posted it while she was singing "Take a Bow" haha, that's what I was hoping for, but I knew that it would be ridiculous if she sang "Disturbia" at the BET Awards
Rihanna may be black but she doesn't make "black music" if that makes sense. She's definitely not R&B, and most definitely not hip-hop. She is a pure pop act. "Take A Bow" is the CLOSEST thing to R&B and that's even a far stretch.
Now I just saw the T-Pain performance lol. Pretty good except for Rick Ross having his shirt off and that fat mother****er DJ Khaled yelling like an idiot. But besides that it was good lol
Now I just saw Chris Brown's one. I got to admit it was dope boy sang his heart out in the beginning and danced his ass off with Ciara in the end. Rihanna had to be jealous
