Eh i use Nevermind but thats about it (Another very over-hyped band) But i see the reason for them being hyped for what they are, they influenced a decade and their songs (unlike the Cockroaches) made some really good songs and more importantly made a good album

Nirvana didn't make good music, all they did was bring Grunge to mainstream, people act like they invented it, there is no band more overrated then them.

You can't "overrate" 20 years of impact..

From changing a musical landscape, to being leaders of a genre to having a Diamond certified album that is still celebrated to this day by critics/general public alike. I mean, Nirvana has continuous praise and impact for a reason.

So to say they're "overrated" when history and currently says otherwise, It simply just doesn't work like that.
