But.. you're completely missing the point.
Why can't both artists be just as successful if they make music in the same genre?
We have tons of major "Pop" girls, ala Katy, Rihnanna, Kesha, Gaga, who all make the same commercial music to sell in the masses - and yet only Adele is being promoted some big soulful machine that swept the world by storm. Name another big major female that makes music outside of typical mainstream girls as big as Adele.
Because I like Paloma, I'm suddenly anti-Adele?
