Beyonce is so unique in how she runs her business. If she has taught us anything it's that she has a plan for everything. They may not always work but she is the driver in her career. Partition was never going to be sent to pop in the US unless it suddenly smashed out of nowhere. Let us not forget just how huge Drunk in love was on urban and rhythmic. So huge that pop would have picked it up regardless of an add date. XO didn't smash globally, which is a bit strange considering the album itself did but being on tour doesn't give much time for the promotion I think some of you want. Blow makes sense. It's a no brainier actually. Her record label knows this but Bey was smart enough to know that this is a song that needs to be promoted. I believe big things are in store for Blow promotion wise. It's the perfect summer song. Partition did well for itself considering it hasn't had a lick of promotion. No way Bey could have not followed DIL up with something on urban immediately. Blow is here now. It's the first truly multi-format release on the album.
