Gurl, Elvis was fat, in his mid-40's, and probably a diabetic when he died.
But, yes, Marilyn would have no legacy if she didn't die when she did (since she has no memorable films, only imagery, but the fascination around said imagery developed when she died).
Otherwise, I agree. Britney's past the point of being/dying as a beauty icon. If anything, it's the opposite.
