I love Shakira and I don't think those are great numbers but i am not delusional, i know she probably won't open up with +100K never again in the us.
For all those saying Shakira was not able to reach She Wolf numbers please lemme remind you She Wolf benefited from Black Friday wich is why i think 89K are way worse than 70/80K in Q1.

Some members are using Shakira's number in the states for making look better their favs underperforming/flops albums, just lemme tell you the fact Shakira is selling almost the same amount of albums in the states after 20 years old career means a lot.

I don't get the hate/dragging Shakira is getting from some stan bases when she is pretty polite/humanitarian and sweet. Actually Beyoncé & Shak get along pretty well.

I agree, her albums also have amazing longevity so Im okay with 70k on the first week.

Beyonce had 2 commercials for songs that weren't even on the album, Shakira had 3 commercials for songs that are on the album (one of them is even a single)
Beyonce didn't release a single before the album, Shakira released 2 singles before the album.

I don't know what the problem is though... Is not even Thursday (April 3rd) IN THE US and haters (because that is what you all are sounding like right now), are already quick to point the finger. Getting on an artist (who could care less about success as far as numbers, i think some of us care or know more about her career than she does, all she cares about is her (personal life and her foundation and giving back...ya'll fave should learn a thing or two). and then picking on her fans... is ok for you guys to have 20/20 vision when an artist doesn't pull a popular stunt as far as sales, concert, etc. but when your "artist" does something SIMILAR whether it is in the US or OUTSIDE the US ya'll play blind or dumb or continue on to pick on the next celebrity?
