Nobody even cared for GUY before now it's a great song and a great single...
All the Gaga fans were OBSESSING over it and most called it the best song on the album back in November. If there's any song you need to worry about being stanned for because of success, go look at "Dope".

I really don't think the notion that "if the music is good people will buy it" is true to life.
You can call it a necessary condition for success (in her case, at least, since obviously it isn't so for Katy w/ **** like Roar) but not really a sufficient one.
This is true sans BEY with Drunk in Love, XO & Partition.
The three ARTPOP singles are better than the four Prism singles
