Right, I think what he did was really nice but it was the "hi cutter" that people were iffy about.
This is a "it's the thought that counts" situation and from what I was reading, Key went back to that girl's instagram and liked a video of her throwing out the razors and the girl said his message really helped her... so at the end of the day, he did a good thing and really helped someone.
Sidenote: I feel bad for Key too, if his comment about "bad habits" and scars on his body was insinuating he used to do it as well.

Something about people who post photos of their self-harming on social networks irks me though. I'm probably just ridiculously insensitive but when people like her post a **** tonne of photos of their arms all cut up and bloody yet have "<3 not for attention <3" in their description.. like..  Clearly it is for attention otherwise you wouldn't be declaring it to the world on Instagram.

I don't think anyone who actually does this is right in the head (whether they do it as a cry for help or purely attention seeking). Hopefully those people end up getting help and luckily Key did help that one girl.
