the idea may not be original but there hasn't been a good show or movie on the subject either . the ones that have been able to take this concept on have miserably failed

Yeah, that's what I was saying. The 1950's is too late for a good freakshow, but I guess it fits with the idea that it's one of the "last" freak shows, since that's apparently the main plot. But it feels dumb; a freak show in the 1950's is so unfitting and not even creepy. It just seems desperate.
Im so ready for Freak Show freak shows were very popular in the early 1900's, they become less popular as the years gone past so they struggled to stay open, just imagine all the bad things that would happen and all the creepiness this season will bring ! If thats how you really feel perhaps you shouldnt tune in for the premiere which I guarantee will have its best ratings for a season premiere yet.
