I'm not saying that Beyoncé fans are dumb, cause that's not the case (even though according to the receipts they are). But at least their SAT scores are lower.

I don't know why it shocks anybody when Beyoncé didn't make it through high school and Lil Wayne probably didn't even finished elementary school.

I really don't think the notion that "if the music is good people will buy it" is true to life.

You can call it a necessary condition for success (in her case, at least, since obviously it isn't so for Katy w/ **** like Roar) but not really a sufficient one.

Yeah good music is not the only factor, you are definitely right.

This era seemed like she didn't even have a PR team nor management. DWUW really should have been a hit and I'm still surprised it didn't do better (idk where it peaked but I'm guessing not high since there was no video).

But if she cleans up her image and gets a PR team, focuses on the material, I do think she can do better next time.
