Acclaimed? 70 on Metacritic Wasn't this supposed to be an acclaimed masterpiece? Coulda shoulda woulda about the number of reviews, 13 is a large enough sample to draw from and Fijacion Oral Vol 1 is a full 9 points higher. She Wolf has 15 reviews and is two points higher.

So all that's left is "iconic", totally subjective with no proof. A Beyhive tea.

When I Was Your Man was an embarrassing attempt to recreate SLY. I mean he couldn't be more obvious with releasing that. Too bad he's too bland to actually move people like Adele did but Payola can only do so much I guess.

Metacritic is not at all a good indication for acclaim, the most acclaimed album of this century so far has an 80 on MC and also Shakira is more GLOBAL than Justin and that is a fact

If it was his reason (which wasn't), it worked. WIWYM peaked at #1 on BB Hot 100, reached more than 200 millions AI on radio and sold more than 8.3 million copies so far.
