No the opposite Black People can sing any genre just like White People can. For example Lov7e Song by Rihanna is a R&B song but if Adele sang it without changing a thing it would be called Pop that's what is confusing me.
I've seen Kworb and others call Talk Dirty a R&B song when it's not at all.
