Though no one can be truly unbiased. It is a part of human nature..... what they are biased against just varies.

(Whenever I get a WP cleared I always check which mods were online though. Just for kii's.)

Yeah, that wasn't cool. There's like 25 people who have said the same thing and no one has meant it as shade toward Pink. It is merely an observation.

Well yeah, there's some bias, but the question is whether it affects your work. In this case, I feel I do a pretty good job of looking at reports objectively and leaving my stanning completely out of it.

Meh..... by making the moderating system private it protects the mods from being attacked directly for their decisions.

However, the ambiguity opens up speculation of bias and corruption inherently. I don't think you can have it both ways being both private AND trusted.

You, Doc, and Matty do an excellent job of handling reports with little to no bias and you in particular go out of your way to clear up any misunderstandings. Each moderator has their own charm and you kind of take after Gaga in a sense in which you like to keep all of your fans (members in HQ) informed an unwarned Keep up the good work!

Sure there's speculation - and maybe I overreacted by defending myself in such a volume of words though I believe I maintained a respectful attitude - but I just feel uncomfortable with being immediately called out as the one who did something because of a bias I don't feel affects my work here.

Question to all ATRLers: is there anything I could change? Like seriously, I want to know if I'm missing something in my own moderating. If there's any way I'm acting that's out of line in your opinion take right now as a free range opportunity to discuss it with me because I'm always open to adjustment.

I think you do a good job personally!!!

But you do tend to co-sign other mod's messiness (i.e Katie's feminist bias, etc.)

I did, in fact, close your thread - because of what Kworb had previously stated in here about threads commemorating a #1 on iTunes for albums. I have not handled reports of the same type for Gaga-related threads. I don't appreciate unsubstantiated allegations of bias.

I wasn't commemorating a #1 on iTunes. I was asking people to discuss their feelings. It was posted in Base, under the "Discussion" heading. Therefore, it was totally valid.

It's pretty ludicrous that Base can be used to discuss the most trivial and insignificant minutiae, yet a discussion about an album being #1 on iTunes is automatically closed.

Meanwhile, a thread about "ARTPOP under 'New Releases' on iTunes" is left open when posted under Music News and then even moved to Base, most likely by you.

Can I make a thread titled "Shakira under Top Albums on iTunes" or would that also be closed? The format is exactly the same.

You do a great job. And I'm not saying this merely as a fellow Gaga fan. You actually respond professionally to the inquiries from people and some times you do with some humour. No need to change.
