Nothing will ever be done about it but if you could tell the admins to fix that redirecting to the AppStore problem it would be much appreciated because it's annoying as ****

Only singles that hit #1 in the US get their own thread. iTunes album sales are too irrelevant, just celebrate in the HDD prediction thread if there will be reason to.

I think at a certain point, mod(s) are just closing the thread without actually evaluating or moderating anything.
I created a thread where people could "Describe your feelings" about the album peaking at #1 on iTunes, placed it in Base, which is specifically for discussion, and it was still closed.
Frankly, it's probably Retro, since he's biased in general (note: he will blatantly let similar Gaga threads remain open).

I did, in fact, close your thread - because of what Kworb had previously stated in here about threads commemorating a #1 on iTunes for albums. I have not handled reports of the same type for Gaga-related threads. I don't appreciate unsubstantiated allegations of bias.

TBH guessing at which mods are biased is half the fun of this thread.
My money is on Lee! or Ace being biased against my reports or 1D in general (not sure which)
I am pretty sure Kworb also clears when I report people for negatively generalizing all 1D stans, but the good sis has other redeeming qualities.

I don't really think it's appropriate to speculate upon without providing evidence, though. If there's one thing that I've personally taken pride in as a moderator, it's that I thought I was able to be fair and level-headed in how I contribute to the site. If someone brings forth something with evidence that shows I'm acting in a way contrary to the appropriate manners that should be used by moderators, I'd more than gladly adjust my behavior or practices.
I just feel a bit "targeted," I guess, in hearing that I'm apparently just biased in general, because I honestly don't aim to be and would love to be the exact opposite.
I'll note too that neither of those moderators would be biased. I'll stop here because it will just turn into me defending the entire rest of the team and nobody taking me seriously because there's always someone who thinks one mod or the other acts inappropriately.
