She was never ignored by black ppl and she never ignored urban radio either. She'd do dancepop but also have urban hits also (Only Girl/WMN for instance) & (WFL/Birthday Cake).

That's not true. It was a black American man(Will.i.am./BEP with The End) who brought Eurodance to dominate Top 40 radio. It was a European woman who killed it (Adele). The irony in that is amusing.

What Rihanna did was just bandwagon the pop radio trends those 2 started.
