Yes. I also honestly believe it has a lot to do with top 40 (pop music) losing it's urban appeal. You know in those films where you have the female character taken across the city looking for clues, planted by her estranged partner (see not male, equal opportunities people!!) and it ends with them in Central Park (come on, they're usually in NYC) where they kiss and its all corny and ****. Well, XO is LITERALLY the embodiment of that. Its that sweet, heartfelt song that instantly makes you feel good.
