Literally EVERYONE on Def Jam is a flop. Please tell me what they're good at because I'm not seeing it. In fact, nearly everyone who's recently signed to Def Jam or Roc Nation was doing better off before they signed the dotted line. Examples:
J. Cole- Went from massive mixtape success and tons of hype to overshadowed by his peers.
Melanie Fiona- She had buzz around her but now idek what she's doing
2 Chainz- One of the most beloved feature artists by the GP. His new album was a compete downgrade from BOATS and flopped despite radio-friendly songs. His songs even flopped on urban radio. He also suffers from bad single choices.
I could go on and on. The fact remains that they don't know how to utilize or promote any of their artists. They have the same problems across the board and Rih is too big to be dealing with their incompetence.
