Both of those threads, and some of the responses that they elicited (including comments making fun of suicide, abortion, mental illness, etc.) are despicable.
The mods need to do their part and warn all the inappropriate comments within those threads. Some of those people are gonna get away with ugliness merely because the threads were closed. Not right and not OK.
