LMAO @ Dope being better than G.U.Y, not in this Universe.
That song would bomb everywhere.
G.U.Y. is just a cheap rehash of LoveGame that's nowhere near as good. It wouldn't perform any better, and Dope actually has a peak within the top 10, whereas the other will be lucky to go top 40.
Give it time, it hasnt even been 24 hrs. And what if she doesnt reach the top 100, she still released a good video that was aimed at her fans. She just cannot get a break.
I think those who aren't her stans are burned out by the loads and loads of threads and hundreds of posts devoted to the video in various threads, so they're unlikely to feel generous towards her base.
One thing that I think would have given her more views and subsequently more downloads would have been if she cut the credits; I bet a lot of people look at 12 minutes and are like "bye."
Dope is not even close to being the best song on Artpop. G.U.Y. is much better, she just doesn't have the selling power anymore
