I was just listening Love Without Tragedy on my phone and i was thinking Rih could have made 3 more videos this era.
Those 3 videos would have been connected
1. Love7 Song
2. Love Without Tragedy
3. Some songs from Una to end the era.

I was dreaming about "No Love Allowed" video once, but well...
I'd love to have some cool visual decisions from her this time. Not waiting for music videos for some months after a single premiere. Maybe even interesting release decisions, like with Rated R. (and, yeah, please, come back with Anthony!) She can be mostrous when it comes to videos (not only videos, but that's what I'm talking about right now).
see, some of you criticized "Unapologetic" videos above - I don't fully agree with you. I adore "Diamonds", I loved "Stay" pretty much, and "What Now" amazed me from one point, although it left too simple impression - only because before it I had all these effective-yet-plain 2013 videos, and I wanted something more gripping. I must admit that "Diamonds" was the last Rihanna's video which I found really fascinating, which I could call one of my favourites, and I miss that feeling. (Year before I had WFL, You Da One, Take Care, POC, and even during Loud era I had at least S&M, Man Down and Cheers). These "Unapologetic" videos are special (at least, from one view), two first even seemed concept, put altogether, but now I'm hungry for more complicated piece of work.

Gospel for R8. She's halfway there after her last televised performance.

2-disc R8
one of which is called Rated R, pt.2 (although I'd say, "Unapologetic" could be this highly anticipated "pt. 2", but suddenly Rih releases literal one),
and the other is someting brand new
great lyrics, different genres, new directions
who's with me?

Rated R is slaying me now, from start to finish it is a masterpiece
I really don't think she will ever top that album.

I've always pictured a western/cowboy theme for No Love Allowed. I'm interested in tv/film and I've thought about the video a million times. The storyboards are all sketched out in my head

No, I don't want another urban/ratchet/rnb album for #R8.

I still want this collaboration with Depeche Mode btw (although I understand it most likely never happens, but let me dream)
it's not like Rihanna can never pull off all what I've said in the previous post - the question is, will she do smth like this once or she's not into that. (cuz if she doesn't, than no one could ever especially, you know )
but still, don't forget this

Rihanna NEEDS to stick with R&B, that's the reason why I actually stan for her.
I'm here for a two disc concept.

Rih flourishes with urban. It fits her more than pop does and y'all will deal

Rihanna is at the top of her game when she does pop, and the album/single sales prove that. What Rihanna songs would you classify as RnB though... Lov7 Song, Skin, Get It Over With etc? you stan for Rih because of those sort of songs
However Skin slays wish it would've been a single from Loud, imagine what the video would've been like

I remember saying to myself: if this album will be worse than "Unapologetic", I won't be upset cuz it's not a big deal - any album could be worse than UA, the real problem is to create a better album... as Mad Hatter said, "it's easier to drink more than nothing than drink less than nothing"... it's easier to create a piece of work which would be a bit worse than the best, than better than the best. Now I notice myself thinking I want an album that tops both RR and UA. Oh gosh.
Still, Loud-look-alike, or just poppy bounce album is the least thing I want right now

I disagree, I think we will get something different for R8... The sales for Unapologetic have been disappointing in Europe especially in the UK (usually one of her biggest markets) , I can't at A Girl Like Me selling more then Unapologetic though
UK sales :
1.Loud - 2.5M
2.Good Girl Gone Bad - 2M
3.Talk That Talk - 1.5M
4.Rated R - 700k
5.A Girl Like Me - 650k
6.Unapologetic - 600k
7.Music Of The Sun - 100k
is this accurate?
