Nearly every song of the show seemed to reference Lovato's struggles, either directly or more obliquely. In the middle of a run of numbers she delivered from the piano, Lovato took time to speak, at some length, about what's she gone through. She even opened the encore with a video montage of TV news talking heads discussing her rehab stint, just in case anyone missed the point. This was supposed to be a pop-music concert, not a multimedia keynote address at a teen depression seminar.
The G.U.Y. video reminds me of this girl from my 7th grade.

Katy is playing the exact same arenas in Australia that Kesha had planned to but had to cancel the entire tour due to low ticket sales.
Selena's We Own The Night tour was bigger and the album had bigger singles + album sales and she had ~endorsements but she didn't make it.
True but Neon Lights is taking off and will probably go Platinum and Heat Attack Double Platinum.
Not to mention DEMI did better than Stars Dance outside the US.
