She seems amazing but I haven't really delved into her discography properly; I've only heard Shakira, She Wolf, Fijación Oral Vol. 1, Oral Fixation Vol. 2 and Laundry Service. It's been awhile since I heard the last three though and I think I'd love her if I gave her more of a chance, but she doesn't really interest me as a person so I don't think I could become a full stan for her.
Most of her music sounds the same, I'm not so much into Latin pop, she sometimes oversings and she makes music to get hits.
Can I pretend I didn't read this? You obviously don't know Shakira. You're probably talking about other artist. Shakira is the most versatile artist I can think of.
I really think the main reason that US people (and maybe from other countries too) don't stan for her is because she is Colombian. Although I can understand that some people doesn't like her voice and prefers some robotized voice instead.

This. She has so much diversity in her songs and keeps experiencing with new sounds.
