To place Rihanna in a category with the likes of Beyonce and Alicia Keys is blatant insanity. Yes, Rihanna has had successful singles, but her album sales particularly in the UNITED STATES are extremely poor for someone who has released 5 top 10 singles. When you are truly talented and have developed a loyal fan base like Beyonce and Alicia has it doesn't matter what single you release you are GUARANTEED to sell millions. Rihanna has not accomplished that and quite possibly never will. She is way too busy selling herself short by changing her image every season to sell records, which has obviously not completely work for her since she can only get top 10 singles. I actually think it's unfair to call Ciara a flop as far as the UNITED STATES go because from The Evolution she earned 0 top 10 singles yet she still managed to go platinum. Now that is what I call having a TRUE fan base because obviously her fans don't give a **** if her singles go top 10 or top 40 they are still going to support her.
