I have vivid memories of all three premieres. The Acura commercial before the first movie started, me having to miss the second movie's premiere and being pressed about it, the anticipation in the theater before HSM 3. Woo lord

HSM even laid the blueprint for Hannah Montana. The sheer amount of merchandise was astounding. And people bought all of it. Poor our faves

I don't even remember whether the first time I saw HSM1 was the premiere. I was at my cousin's house, had a toothache and was crying, saw it randomly on Disney for the first time and it instantly made me feel better for some reason. Then like 30 mins later, I left his house but thought about it all night.

HSM2 I was so pissed. We just moved, so we didn't have cable, and I couldn't see it. But Disney showed it another time, I recorded it, and stanned so much.

HSM3 I didn't see until DVD Release.

Even though I love hand-drawn animation I wish Disney had done The Princess & The Frog in CG like Frozen.

It would have found a much bigger audience.

I loved the New Orleans setting and music.

A mom told me recently that it was too scary for a lot of the younger ones. It did well critically if I recall.

High School Musical was more of a "everyone watched, but never dared to talk about it" thing though anyways.

I remember I brought the HSM1 DVD to Daycare when they asked us to bring DVD's. My friends begged me to show it to them, but I was too scared.
