I'm happy that Rihanna took Lil' Wayne out of the top spot, but Lollipop is a good song still.
I hope that Bye Bye gets on the countdown soon, but I'm surprised to see that after about 3 months of release that Touch My Body is #1 on the people's votes.

Sorry, Mariah_4life, I hate Lollipop and Sexy Can I both and Lil' Wayne's song is annoying and makes Soulja Boy's Crank That, Flo-Rida/T-Pain's Low, and Sean Kingston's songs look good in comparison.

Hey Andy. First of all, thanks for sticking with us. At its core, TRL has always been about fans like you, and your continued passion is a big part of what keeps us going strong. In terms of your comments, you bring up some very interesting points. We do have a lot of change in store, but as is often the case in television, change doesn't happen overnight. As you know, TRL has been on the air for nearly a decade, and it wouldn't have been able to survive without reinventing itself through graphics, set design, and creative content. To that end, we are in the process of developing a new look for the studio, new graphics are currently being created, and we have lots of new segments that will debut in a matter of weeks. And while we know this doesn't answer all of your questions, you can rest assured that every concern being brought up by you and our other viewers is being tackled full-force by the TRL staff. We know we'll never be able to satisfy everyone, but we'll damn well try. So keep the faith, keep watching, and keep venting.

heres what i think the countdown for tue jun 10th wouldve been if it was based on trl votes only:

2.metro station-shake it
3.cherish-amnesia
4.colby o' donis-what you got

I still don't understand why nobody's voting for Bye Bye....why is it still freakin' Touch My Body? I think you think way too hard.
Natasha fell off  why did Plies have to knock her off? He'll be out of the picture in 2-3 years.

I really dislike the way how the videos are chosen to be on the countdown
It should be all votes, votes only
like the old school TRL
It is now impossible for alot of videos to reach the countdown
For example, alot of the Madonna fans are trying to get "Give it 2 Me" on the countdown
But the only way that would be possible is for it to be in the top streams at MTV.com, top 10 in airplay and downloads
The single is not even released yet, nor has it been sent to radio yet.
It's impossible, the only way to get it on the countdown is to have every fan vote every minute of their day
