Good idea, I was going to volunteer to update all the YT links in the OP to include their newest/best singles but I think it's better to limit it.

Like, choose the ultimate 10 K-Pop artists and then their definitive songs and just leave those in there.

I was going to suggest just jumping in right now by watching music shows or following a K-Pop news blog, but another wacky thing you can try is checking out the monthly song rate this thread does. Too late for you to rate, but I think you have until tomorrow to vote the finishing order of the top 3 between SoyouXJunggigo, Sunmi and SNSD.

And if by chance you actually enjoy Crayon Pop, just know they're about to begin a promotional period in Korea soon, which will include music shows and live appearances with their associated fancams. A good aggregator for international fans is the Crayon Pop thread at onehallyu. And the thing about following one group on a promo is you'll be exposed to other groups who are also on promos, such as A Pink and MBLAQ in this case. And your life will end.

Makes sense. I always found that when we get a new member are all the current members tent to bombard them with a million Youtube links and it's probably daunting and ultimately counterproductive. I've done it many times myself though

But yeah, it'd be a great idea to make playlists for potential new fans.

It'd be murder trying to agree on ten songs for the most part, but it's a good idea as I remember getting so many links and recommendations when I started to get into K-pop and I'm bad for giving lots of links too.

I hope TTS don't come back again. I want a new sub-unit or nothing. Taeyeon and Tiffany need to go to the back now, SM gives them WAY too much exposure, they are getting more than Yoona even though Yoona is the group ca$h cow.

I want SSJ Sooyoung, Sunny and Jessica sub-unit or YYH Yoona Yuri Hyoyeon sub-unit.

Or failing that a JeTi or Jessica/Krystal duo project with a mini featuring Korean and English songs. That would slay. But SM hates f(x) so that would probably never happen.

That is a great idea I'm pretty new myself and I don't follow Kpop on a daily basis. I think we should split it up a bit between popular groups and others tho. There are so much kpop groups tbh.

I feel your pain. I'd refund my tickets if they told me I'd have to watch Vomit Pop perform their nursery rhyme song with hardly any real lyrics.
