I also think it's sad how these girls like Azealia Banks who are struggling to put an album out are written off as flops, while the one girl bold enough to deliver her material on time to her fans is now being made out to be some kind of brat.

That's cute, but the reality of the music industry is that it's a business and nobody works alone. There's a lot of people behind the scenes doing a lot of work for Angel, some of whose job is to make sure she releases at a smart time. Sticking to a release strategy despite it becoming an obviously bad idea isn't brave, it's just bad business.
Frankly, her record company should drop her. If a brand new artist with a relatively tiny following had the audacity to publicly slander my corporation and defy all the marketing advice we can offer her— and then turned up
dead wrong— I would get rid of her and never look back.
