Just Dance missed the top 20 in Italy, peaked at #14 in France, and #10 in Germany. I thought it did better.

I've loved Just Dance since 2008 and even though it hasn't aged that well, it's aged better than most of her singles.

But the BEP were already smashing with their singles by the time JD peaked (or soon after; it would of been a smash with or without JD being a hit) and there was Disturbia/Don't Stop the Music the year before, which were definitely dance-pop songs.

Out of all of her singles, Paparazzi has probably aged the best.

It's also her best music video.

I thought Just Dance was a Natasha Bedingfield song. And then still thought it was her when I saw the video.

But damn, when I saw her live in a small venue in the front row right after the VMAs and before SNL in 2009, I knew she was going to be a star.

I have to laugh at Gaga saying f*ck pop music now. Didn't she praise pop at the beginning of her career? At her being anti-pop now that she's flopping.

Paparazzi sounds the most dated to me. While I love the song, the production sounds so cheap.

I don't actually remember JD that well tbh, my earliest memory of Gaga was watching MTV back in late 08 at a friends house that i was staying at and i remember seeing PF on all the time, i remember thinking it was quite catchy but didn't think it would be the birth of this big superstar, mum was like "Lady Gaga, who calls themselves that?"

Saw her On so you think you can dance way before the song got big and was intrigued. Poker was just a sick song, but it wasn't until the paparazzi vma performance that I was truly hooked.

Bad romance and Alejandro demo solidified that.

Also Bloody Mary gives me life, it a song I've been waiting for from a pop girl for years.
