Most of them are upset because it's not in black and white (what did they expect from a 2014 action adventure film targeting a young demographic?), because the male lead is not 11 years old, or because it's not completely faithful to the book.
Taylor's presence will be probably be a rather insignificant part of a LONG list of complaints fans of the novel have by the time they've seen the entire film.
But its just a small clip. Too early to say for sure.
