Normally I would be angry like all of you and I would say that the Hot 100 has become a joke and that that song (and this is true) is not the 9th most popular song in the country and that people did not watch the video because of the song, therefore streaming shouldn't count for it but in reality how are we supposed to choose which songs should benefit from streaming and which shouldn't? It is hard to choose without being called on it, a computer cannot choose which songs are played (in videos) because they videos are viral or because people like them. And you can't eliminate videos from the formula because sometimes people like both the video and the song (Gangnam Style) and people do listen to audio videos.

And I won't lie, I like Soko quite a bit after listening to this. I am ready for her to achieve Lana Del Rey type of fame (though it seems like she is the second French alternative girl who debuts in the top 10...there was another one back then in 2010 or 2009 that was featured on an Apple commercial but I totally forgot her name.)

.... which was not, in fact, my point! It's still getting people riled up over the streaming rule that I wanted to take advantage of.
