What are you guys talking about? I can't even imagine any other song than Applause being the lead single. Also, she literally ruined Do What U Want. She just had to feature R. Kelly in it.

Even if the video ends up slaying, I really doubt that it will help on anything (both the song as a single & ARTPOP the album). Hope that at least it gets people buying the remaining tickets available for the tour.
Applause was the only real choice for lead single, let's be real. Do What U Want and Gypsy could have worked as well. I'd have been interested to see how Aura would have turned out but I don't think it would have done that well.
