Jay-Z isnt the best lyricst alive either but he's always Top 10 not because of his lyrics soley, but because of his persona, his delivery, the tone he sets in the song. Lyricism does matter but having a unique persona is more important

I never said lyricism is ALL that matters. All of these things matter, but being unique can only take you so far. It's all about a good healthy balance.
