I don't think so. The bridge leading to the last chorus with her growling "I want your bad romance" is probably the most iconic thing she's sang and easily the best part of that song.

Jewels N Drugs was simply a disaster - don't know what was going on there. The Swine on the album isn't good to me but it slays everywhere else so I can accept that. But this song really could have been on it. I don't think it was every formally announced that Brooklyn Nights was the song that didn't make it in place of MJH.. it could have been one of many. I can see how Brooklyn Nights would fit as a lead up to Dope like MJH though.
