Yeah, it's supposed to make it easier.
As long as it seems, the ARC-V era is being made to bring new players, so they are simplifying everything. For example the Effects will have numbers now, so you can say how many effects a card has. That was kind of difficult in the past.
I hope that the anime brings all types of summoning, because it would make sense if they wanna bring new players. Besides Pendulum Monsters are basically helping to summon other Type of monsters asap.
1.- Normal Monsters: You can pendulum summon other monsters to Tribute Summon a stronger one.
2.- Special Summon Effect Monsters: You can get the needed monsters to Special Summon Effect Monsters.
3.- Fusion Monsters: You can get the Fusion Material Monsters on the field and you can use cards like Super Polymerization.
4.- Ritual Monsters: You can get the Sacrifices easier for a Ritual Summon, because on the field a lot of monsters can increase their levels.
5.- Synchro Monsters: You can get a Tuner and Non-Tuners needed for a Synchro Summon.
6.- Xyz Monsters: You can get a lot of same LV Monsters to perform a Xyz Summon.
7.- Pendulum Monsters: These cannot be summoned if not by a Pendulum Summon.
I mean, Pendulum Monsters are gonna be broken as hell!
