Already? It spent a month and a week in the top 10. "Give It 2 Me" might not do much for it in the US, but she does have a label that cares and fans. "Miles Away" & "Beat Goes On" are future possibilities to keep it stable where ever she may go. She has a hit so she won't just shamefully drop to the bottom, and with future hits to come it won't shamefully drop to the bottom.
Hard Candy has a good chance at going Platinum. It's going to go Gold next week and it's still in the Top 20. American Life dropped much faster than Hard Candy yet it still managed to go Platinum in terms of shipments. I'm not sure if HC will reach 1 million in terms of sales, but at this point, since sales are stabilized, it should be able to reach a million in shipments. Janet, on the other hand, has flopped and she won't even get a Gold certification.
